Hey Everybody! As we all start another week I want to share with you another blog update!
So how many have asked the question Can I do this? Will I be able too? Am i capable of doing this task or piece of work? I find myself asking this question a lot of times because I am not a very tall! I sometimes get frustrated with my size because sometimes i have to get a stool to stand on to complete that task and then I sometimes think "if I were taller I wouldn't need that stool and I wouldn't have to do that extra work" I will give you an example of what I mean! Last summer my family and I took a vacation down to Lake of the Ozarks beautiful place! Anyways one evening my family and I were going to go ride go carts! I got very excited because I love to drive go carts because I use to drive my golf cart in my old neighborhood anyways when we got to the go cart place their was a height requirement. My sister and I didn't get to do it because we were not tall enough and didn't reach the requirement! I was very discouraged because my size got in the way of me wanting to do an activity that I really wanted to do! So one night I was looking through my bible and I ran across this verse in the bible it is Philippians 4:13 It says I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength! I read that over and over again and then I thought I am not going to let my size get in the way of what I can do because with God ALL things are possible! So I think its just cool to hear that phrase "I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength! Now theres something else I would like to add being strong doesn't always mean I can lift 100 pounds of weights or I am going through a really hard time in life I am strong enough I can get through it! Well can I tell you a little secret? You don't have to be STRONG ENOUGH. Here's the other cool part about not being strong enough. God carries it and He never...HE NEVER gives you more then you can handle! He carries your burdens and hurts if you let Him carry them for you! By his wounds we are healed! Which brings me to a song I heard at a concert I attended this past weekend! The song is called Strong enough and it is by song artist Matthew West! Great song and I hope you are hope filled and filled with Gods everlasting LOVE!
Enjoy!

Well to wrap up I just want to say that throughout this week I hope you feel Gods love and presence!

Amazing Grace!
Hello everyone! I hope everyone has had a good day! I want to talk today about grace and the amazing grace. Have you ever asked yourself the question what is Amazing Grace? I know I have asked myself that! Let me start off by saying this world is sin everyone in it has sinned! God has saved us all by his love and by sending his one and only son onto this earth to take our sin and wash it as white as snow! Isnt that cool? I mean sometimes we sin and we sometimes think no one will forgive us because of what we did but God has! Our God is a forgiving God! He makes all things new! Gods amazing grace is transforming and He is the way the truth and the life! I have a a couple of verses I want to share with you today they come from the book of Romans! Here it is:
1. Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
5 Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. 6 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. 7 For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. 8 And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. 9 We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. 10 When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. 11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.
12 Do not let sin control the way you live;[a] do not give in to sinful desires. 13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. 14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
15 Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! 16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. 17 Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you wholeheartedly obey this teaching we have given you. 18 Now you are free from your slavery to sin, and you have become slaves to righteous living.
19 Because of the weakness of your human nature, I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously, you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led ever deeper into sin. Now you must give yourselves to be slaves to righteous living so that you will become holy.
20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. 21 And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom.22 But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.
That is a really long verse but I hope God speaks to you through this verse! I pray that this blog post and this blog that I have started will show Gods love to everyone who reads it!
Gods grace is enough!
One quote I read was about grace and heres the quote
I am a great sinner but Jesus Christ is a great savior!
My next verse I want to share with you comes from Ephesians 2:8-9
Here it is: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Isn't it a great feeling to know that Gods grace is enough? and no matter what burden you are carrying with Gods grace you dont have to carry it! You don't! The chains that are binding you God has broken and you are FREE YOU ARE FREE!
I am want to wrap up with the song amazing grace I will post the youtube video of amazing grace listen to it and feel Gods grace! Its for EVERYONE! He loves you
Heres the song!
I hope through reading this you feel Gods presence and love!
Blessed to be a blessing

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! |
Hello Everyone!! As we all wrap up the year of 2012 tonight I just want to wish you all a happy New year! What was one of your favorite things about this past year? Now my next question what was one thing you didn't like about this past year? Let me tell you all something. Every year has its ups and downs and sometimes when were in those down moments we sometimes ask the question "why" well as many of you know I recently had a change in my life I moved from my old town up to Ankeny and I was questioning why we had to move but later during the change I realized that God had a plan and I love where God has brought me! I am home schooled and i love it not just because I get to stay home but because its not just the learning I like its the fact that I get to see my family more and I get to be closer to them! So what I am saying is that this past year maybe has had its downs but there is one man who has walked this earth many years ago and came to give us a new life so that we may have no more sorrow or pain or hurt but have joyous life and EVERLASTING LIFE with a God who gave you life through your savior Jesus Christ! I want to share 2 verses with you.
My first verse comes from Ecclesiastes 3:
There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
So whatever happened in 2012 wiether it was a joyous event or a sorrowful event it happened for a reason. Every season has its reasons.
My next verse comes from Isaiah 43:16
“This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
What this verse to me is saying is that the past has happened and He is making all things new.
Which brings me to show you one of my favorite songs that talks about just that how He is making all things new.
So heres the song its called "All things new" by Elevation Worship
I hope this song touches your heart the way it has mine
So to wrap up here I want to end with another verse from 2 Corinthians 5:17
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
May you all be blessed and have a great night celebrating not only a new year but a new life through your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
Blessings to all

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Hello everyone!!
First off I want to say...MERRY CHRISTmas!!! The last three letters are small for a reason it wasn't a typo. Today is the day our Savior was born! May I say...CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES COME ON!! What did you guys get for Christmas this year? I got great presents! We didn't do stockings this year only the niece and nephews did them! I was all for idea. My dad told me his story of when He stopped doing the filling of the stockings at Christmas time he told me his reaction wasn't a very good one. I love the way Christmas went this year! Dinner around the table with family is a great way to spend it! Then sitting around relaxing what a blessing God gives us! I did the devotions and I read a part of the birth of Jesus and I had my nephews help me out! I also talked about what a blessing my family is to me! I just love seeing everyone together! The best present I got and I think we will all agree that what I am about to say is the ultimate Christmas present.....Our Savior Jesus Christ! He came to save us to come to our rescue to love sinners like us enough to go through the most horrible death so that we NEVER HAVE TOO. That's the Christmas present I love getting every year! I hope you all had a blessed day with family!
Have a great rest of your week and enjoy it!
Blessings to all

Tis the season or tis the reason?
Hello everyone! I hope you all are ready for Christmas and different events! As Christmas is two days away I want to give you a little food for thought. When you think of Christmas what is the first thing that comes to mind? Presents? Food? Family? Events? Church service? Santa? Or Jesus? You fill in the blank. For me the first thing that comes to mind is Jesus's birth! I mean I find it very amazing that our Savior comes to this earth in the form of a baby! I mean I sometimes wonders why He didnt come all ready grown? But there's a reason. There's a reason for the season! Get it? Well this time of year it can get busy! With the Christmas presents and the making of food and the planning and the traveling! I think we can all agree sometime we have gotten to the point where we ask ourselves "when can I sit down?" It's sometimes hard in the midst of the chaos but we find time! So I really had no plan for this update and what I was going to write so if I am babbling I am sorry! I will cut straight to the point! This season make Jesus shine! I mean we all of nativity scenes sitting on mantles! I it just a nativity scene or is it more then that?
Now onto my next thing! Presents or presence?
I have thought hard about this one!
On Christmas Day we give presents to friends and family? But God gave us a present that is going to give us eternal life and save us from our many sins! And that is through Jesus Christ who was born on Christmas day! When I heard this it blew my mind away because I never thought of it in that way and I find it very cool! So every year I find myself thinking do I want presents or do I want presence? Just something to think about this holiday season!
Well that's all I have for now! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and of course a Happy New year!!!!!
Blessed to be a blessing
